Denmark seriously needs more serious love. Thus, this was born.

I got the idea while I was texting with my friend BakanoHealthy; we were talking about random Nordic stuffs, and then she went, "I don't think Denmark was a control-freak after all. Just look at Hima's new updates; look how he couldn't even ask Norge for more taxes. He's more like the 'oblivious-idiot-that-nobody-wants-to-play-with' type, in a cute way. That's why Ice stayed for so long.". It's hard to resist; I had to start sketching right away.

Took me longer than I thought, though, mostly because I kept slacking out to read doujinshi's about our favorite Dane. Turns out there were more violent DenSve than I expected, and some of them depressed me more than I would've imagined. I don't have anything against that pairing - honestly, I like it, it's sexy and cute at the same time - I just can't approve of a cracked-mentality-Denmark. That Denmark simply doesn't exist in my headcanon.

I hope you like this. I didn't really like how the colors didn't go along, but I'm quite content with my lineart this time. And sorry if I got some of the colors wrong; Himapapa didn't provide colored references for the medieval/Middle Ages outfits now did he?

Oh and Denmark's hair is just impossible. Hnnng.
